Bolu Babalola, a London based author and scriptwriter, is about to take the literary world by storm with her debut novel, Love in Colour.

Released this month, the collection of romantic stories is a world away from her career in comedy script writing for sketch shows including The Tracey Ullman Show. Babalola, who has a law degree and is currently studying for a masters in politics and history at UCL, was also shortlisted for the 2016 Guardian B4ME Short Story prize, for her comedy Netflix & Chill.
